Hi everyone,
Today I did my last run of 2007 a 13.8km long slow distance run. It went very well but I am clearly in no danger of running a half marathon tomorrow. In fact, as implicit in the title to this post, I am not running tomorrow, insteady Andy is coming over and we are going to tackle some circuit training, or weights, something horrible in any case...
My next run, aptly scheduled for January 1st is the Resolution Run hosted by the Newmarket Running Room. It is a five km jaunt and I am hoping to complete in in just a shade over 30 minutes. I have also signed up for a couple of other events - the Aurora Rebecca's Bunny Hop on March 19th, another 5 km run, as well as the Uxbridge half marathon on April 27th, just under one month after my run in Prague.
OK, so, "enough of that!", you say, let get to the good stuff! What is today's song of the day, well...
Rough Boys by Pete Townsend from his Empty Glass album. Great song, great album.
I probably won't post now until 2008 so, with that in mind, please let me wish you all a great New Year's Eve! Here is a copy of today's route:
