Starting the week the only way I can

Hi there,

I just completed a 10.3 km run from home to my kids place - lovely day for it. I am now into packing mode and trying to get everything finished that I have to before I fly tomorrow.

I will post a longer blog entry from the airport tomorrow afternoon. Today's song of the day is dedicated to a dear friend, Eric Drew, to celebrate the occasion of his marriage to the lovely Lisa. The song Veracruz was written and performed by Warren Zevon, perhaps one of the greatest songwriters of his day - sadly missed after his death of lung cancer. Eric introduced me to Zevon years ago on a weekend trip to my cottage and when the song came up on my iPod today, it made me think of him and the announcement of his marriage.

Eric, I wish you and Lisa all the best, mate.
